Research on spring frost damage in cherries

چکیده
A frost occurred in spring following high temperatures Michigan 2007. It caused important crop losses. In this study, the damage had on flower buds of some cherry cultivars ‘Gisela 5’ at Southwest Research and Extension Center (SWMREC) different scion/rootstock combinations Clarksville Horticultural Experiment Station (CHES) were determined. cherries, SWMREC varied from 26.7% to 99.3% depending cultivar while it 41.9 CHES combinations. ‘Rainier/Gisela 6’ ‘NY119’ promising. The bud development stage during freeze, cultivar, rootstock, ages trees low temperature level effective resistance.
